Over the past five years in Haiti, journalists have become easy prey for armed groups who are waging a reign of terror in the country in general, and the Port-au-Prince region in particular. At least thirty of them have been killed, wounded, kidnapped, victims of attacks or kidnap attempts, creating fear within the extremely precarious corporation.
